Cypress Cucumber Report
A reporting tool that analyzes Gherkin feature files and makes the structure of a test specification easier to review.
Published · maintained

The problem
A test repository can contain many feature files without an accessible overview of what has been specified. This package produces a report from those definitions without running the tests.
What it does
- Analyze Cucumber/Gherkin feature files in a project.
- Generate an HTML overview of the specification structure.
- Review defined features and scenarios independently of test execution.
- Integrate reporting into Cypress-based automation workflows, including CypressCraft.
Engineering approach
An independent Node.js package distributed through npm. CypressCraft consumes it as a reporting dependency, but the package keeps its own identity and can be used separately.
My contribution
Design and implementation of a reporting workflow that makes automation specifications easier to inspect and communicate.
Current scope
The report describes feature structure. It does not prove that scenarios passed, measure production code coverage or replace an execution report.
