Easy-YOPmail
An unofficial Node.js client that makes temporary email inboxes easier to use in automated tests and development workflows.
Published · maintained

The problem
Email verification can make automated tests cumbersome. Easy-YOPmail exposes reusable JavaScript operations for working with temporary inboxes and extracting useful message content.
What it does
- Generate temporary addresses and query inboxes.
- Filter, paginate and read messages programmatically.
- Extract content using selectors and attributes, including attachments.
- Manage messages and save email content for automated workflows.
Engineering approach
The library handles HTTP requests, session details and HTML parsing behind a Node.js interface. It is an unofficial client of the YOPmail web service, not an official YOPmail API or a standalone mail server.
My contribution
Library design, abstraction of inbox operations, documentation and ongoing compatibility maintenance.
Current scope
A published open-source package. Its behavior depends on an external service and can be affected by changes to YOPmail’s interface or access controls.
