react-pivottable-plus
A modernized React pivot-table library for interactive grouping, filtering and exploration of tabular data.
Published · paused

The problem
Applications need flexible data exploration without rebuilding an analytical table from scratch. This project extends an established pivot-table foundation with a modern interface and a more modular architecture.
What it does
- Group, aggregate and filter data interactively.
- Work with pagination, sorting and resizable columns.
- Use modern renderers and React-oriented integration patterns.
- Separate data-processing concerns from presentation through a modular core.
Engineering approach
The project combines React with modern UI building blocks, including Tailwind, Radix UI and shadcn-related components. It is distributed as an npm library and includes examples and documentation.
My contribution
Modernization, refactoring, interface work and functional extensions to the original pivot-table lineage.
Open-source origins
react-pivottable-plus derives from react-pivottable, the React implementation associated with Plotly and Nicolas Kruchten, in the PivotTable.js lineage. Credit belongs to those original authors for the foundation; my contribution focuses on modernization and extensions. See the upstream project below.
Current scope
A published open-source library with development currently paused. The project builds on prior open-source work and is not presented as an implementation created entirely from scratch.
