Microsoft Clipart Collection – Win98
A browser-based clipart gallery that brings the look and feel of Windows 98 and classic Microsoft Office to a modern web application.

The problem
Make a vintage clipart collection easier to explore through a familiar desktop-inspired interface.
What it does
- Browse clips by category or search terms.
- Switch between compact, medium, large and detailed views.
- Sort results by name or size and discover random clips.
- Keep favorites and explore a retro document editor.
Engineering approach
Built with Next.js, React and TypeScript, with Tailwind CSS and animated interface components. A client-side service loads archive metadata, caches results and supports paginated browsing.
My contribution
Development of the gallery interface and its browsing experience, combining modern frontend tools with a retro desktop presentation.
Current scope
An independent project inspired by classic Windows and Office interfaces. The underlying clipart collection is third-party material, not original artwork created for this project.
